Tennis court repair underway
Work has already started on the effort to resurface the tennis court and replace the aging fence. We will also be painting pickleball court lines on the tennis court, transforming it into a multi-purpose venue that will be used more often and by a wider range of neighbors. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the country according to some reports. See the images below to get an idea what the new court will look like.
We are also resurfacing the basketball court and removing the fence all the way around to the volleyball court. This will open up the space and make the park look significantly nicer and more welcoming.
The courts will look brand new when the work is complete and they will be ready just in time for the Southchase 6 Summer Games event on June 25, 2022. Go to the EVENTS page on the website to sign up your teams to compete in all the events! There are competitions for any skill and fitness level. If you're not competing, come out to the park for food and music and cheer on your teams. It will be an amazing day of epic neighborhood competition, good food, music, fun, and don't forget about the water slide for the kids.
