More Activity at the Park
The landscaping crew was out yesterday to spread the sand around the playground and volleyball court and also grind down the stumps left behind from the hedges that were removed. The new beach sand was desperately needed to fill in the low spots and provide enough cushion for a fall to keep the playground safe. Removing the dead and dying hedges has opened up the space and made the park feel more inviting.
The park is starting to look better in preparation for the SC6 Summer Games event being held on June 25th. Be sure to RSVP to the event and sign up for the games you want to compete in. If you are not competing, come on down anyway to enjoy good food, music, and cheer on your neighbors. Don't forget to RSVP to the event.
