Little Free Library installed at SC6 lakefront.

This weekend, the Southchase 6 Little Free Library was installed at the lakefront near the Adirondack chairs and benches. This cute little library stores books for all ages and provides a convenient way for the community to share books for free.

There is even a pet leash hook to secure your pet while you review all the fun and interesting book options in the library.

How it works

The Little Free Library process is very simple. Take a look at the books in the library and if there are any that you wish to read, take them home and read them. If you have any books you have already read and no longer want, place them in the Little Free Library for the next neighbor to read. That's it!

You never know what you might find

Because the books in the library are constantly being rotated, you never know what you might find that will be a fun, interesting, or educational to read. And to make things more fun and interesting, after you finish reading your selection, write your name and date in the book to leave a legacy of your participation in the free library.

Start a Book Club

If there is a particular book you enjoyed and want to meet others who have read the same book in order to discuss it, go to the CLUBS section of the website and join the Book Club. Once signed up, you can post about your experience, share your thoughts, and meet others who read the book.
